Viking cooktops cover three different technology platforms — sealed gas, induction, and electric resistance. Each has its own diagnostic procedure. VGSU sealed-burner work overlaps with the range side (sparks, igniters, orifices); VICU induction is closer to the Wolf CI platform diagnostically; VECU is the simplest of the three.
Griddle thermostat calibration is a specialty call for the rangetop side. We use a calibrated probe across the griddle surface to confirm temperature distribution before adjusting.
